Executive functions and adaptative abilities in an 11-year-old boy with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in comorbidity with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Abstract

Even though there was a restriction for its diagnosis until some years ago, there might exist comor-bidity between ASD and ADHD. Objective. In this stu-dy, the case of an 11-year-old boy diagnosed with both ASD and ADHD is described. The patient is evaluated to document the existence of deficits in the executive and adaptative functioning, as well as to explore the re-lationship between cognitive measures and a behavioral measure
