Psicoanálisis y salud mental o la renuncia a saberlo todo

Resumen

Propongo pensar la Salud Mental enmarcada en la escena clínica de la época, interpelando el discurso del “saberlo todo” - “todo es saber” que supone códigos comunes para “conocer” al paciente bajo reglas objetivas y cuantificables. La premisa del sujeto homogéneo, sin fallas ni opacidades, que ese discurso implica, consolida una escena sostenida en ideales de salud mental colectivos: para “todos” “lo mismo”. Frente a ello es una postura ética sostener que no existe posibilidad alguna de alcanzar normas comunes, que lo único común es el malestar que acarrea ser hablante. Entonces nos disponemos a escuchar e invitamos a hablar, camino que instala la transferencia necesaria que convierte a quien padece en alguien singular. El desafío de los psicoanalistas es inventar opciones que posibiliten que el psicoanálisis en extensión conforme una escena diferente frente al saber haciendo oír su voz con renovadas propuestas.

Propose to consider the field of Mental Health within the frame of the clinical scene of our times, questioning the discourse of ‘knowing everything’ - ‘everything is knowledge’ which requires common codes to ‘get to know’ the patient under objective and quantifiable rules. The principle of a spherical subject that such discourse implies consolidates a scene supported on collective mental health ideals: ‘the same’ for ‘everybody’. It is an ethical standpoint to sustain that there is no possibility whatsoever of attaining common norms, that discomfort is the only common trait which the speaking subject entails.
