El sujeto: Una noción ética

Resumen

Las condiciones actuales del discurso contemporáneo marcado por la ideología de la ciencia -que promueve la exactitud en lugar de la verdad y la garantía de lo escrito en lugar del compromiso con la Palabra que constituye a los seres del Lenguaje- plantean la necesidad apremiante de precisar lo que el psicoanálisis promueve como ética. Ya que el sujeto es una noción que depende de ella, no hay subjetividad sin ética, sólo se alcanza por un compromiso en tanto seres hablantes, que no puede ser reemplazado por decretos o legislaciones. El sujeto emerge de una práctica del Lenguaje donde se produce como efecto de su acto “ poético ”, no en un sentido romántico o de vana ficción, sino en el sentido de una producción del orden simbólico que especifica a lo humano. No puede ser reducido a un sujeto de Derecho. Reconstruir la autoridad de la Palabra es una necesidad crucial, ya que de ella depende la existencia del sujeto. La ideología globalmente reinante, trata como un infantilismo o una ilusión quijotesca la práctica de la metáfora. Sin embargo, lo que es en rigor ilusorio es pretender prescindir de la Palabra, unica garantía de la Verdad, sin la cual no es viable vivir en el Lenguaje. La situación actual del discurso que Jacques Lacan nombró como de psicosis social, es la situación en la que la autoridad de ese orden simbólico es rechazada, por ser la autoridad de un semblante, una categoría que el sentido común positivista desconoce con orgullo. Autoridad, no en el sentido del poder que amenaza sino autoridad como aquello a lo cual se le reconoce ser una fuente de valor. Una autoridad no es un poder. El poder es el de la fascinación.

The current conditions of the contemporary discourse marked by the ideology of science -that promotes accuracy instead of the truth and the guarantee of what is written in place of the commitment to the Word that is to the beings of the language -pose the urgent need to clarify what psychoanalysis promotes as ethics.
