Abstract
This article shows two tools through which the LGBT communities, initially in Bogota, have entered in to the university agenda. The academic LGBT film exhibition and the strategic lawsuit. The first is promoted by the Pontifical Javeriana University and has already completed ten years. In relation to the second, promoted by the National and Andes Universities, has gained an important acknowledgement of rights.
