Abstract
The recent pandemic led to changes in the teaching-learning processes in the Mexican educational system and its different levels of education due to confinement, configuring some challenges. The objective of this paper is to reflect on some of the challenges faced by law professors at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez (UACJ) and the educational institution itself due to the abrupt change from face-to-face courses to courses through digital platforms to address the emergency. The reflections emerged in the context of two research processes in which a qualitative, interpretive methodology was used. Among the results that are presented, the challenge of the confrontation of the power of Law teachers stands out, who did not consider that in this context the pedagogical dynamics through digital platforms should be more flexible due to the particular conditions of each student. This to guarantee their Right to Education and avoid discrimination due to dress codes and appearance in front of the digital screen. One of the main conclusions is that, based on the epidemiological challenge experienced, the teaching-learning process of Law must increasingly adapt to the disruptive because it somehow impacted its traditional forms of teaching.
